Trustee & Chair of the Finance and Commercial Committee
Hospice in the Weald is looking for a qualified accountant with charity finance experience, whether gained in industry, practice or as an executive or non-executive, to join the Board and become Chair of the Finance and Commercial Committee.
Candidates will have a strong understanding of charity accounting practices and may either have financial leadership experience in a charity of a similar or larger size than Hospice in the Weald (i.e. annual income of >£10m), relevant experience in either industry or practice, or held a non-executive position with similar responsibilities on the board of another charity.

Above all, candidates will share a commitment to the mission of Hospice in the Weald and its work. They will bring good, independent judgement and be able to work effectively with a committed Board, Executive and external audit team, to deliver good governance
across the whole organisation.
