Ruth Cairnie Nurole

Ruth Cairnie

Ruth Cairnie is the Chair of Babcock International Group plc and the Senior Independent Director at BT Group plc. She is Patron of the Women in Defence Charter, a trustee of Windsor Leadership and of the White Ensign Association. She is a supporting Chair at Chapter Zero. Ruth’s previous roles include Senior Independent Director at Associated British Foods plc, Non-Executive Director at Rolls-Royce Holdings, Contour Global plc and Keller Group plc, member of the Finance Committee at Cambridge University, Chair of the POWERful Women initiative and Chair of the International Committee of the CBI. Ruth’s executive career was at Royal Dutch Shell spanning Research, B2B businesses, Strategy, Supply Chain and M&A.


Vindi Banga

Vindi Banga

Vindi Banga joined CD&R London in 2010 as Partner. He is also Chair of Marie Curie, the UK Government Investments, and Imperial College London (1 April 2024). He is a NED on the boards of Haleon plc, The Economist Group, and Wm. Morrison Supermarkets plc. Previously, he was President, Foods, Home and Personal Care and member of the Executive Board at Unilever.


Sir Peter Bazalgette Nurole

Sir Peter Bazalgette is SID for Saga & chairs LoveCrafts. Before he chaired ITV & was SID at YouGov. He’s currently co-Chair of the Creative Industries Council & chairs the Council of the Royal College of Art. Previously he chaired Arts Council England. He’s also a Department for Education non-executive.


Oliver Cummings (host)

He began his career as a private equity investor, working at Goldman Sachs Capital Partners and BXR Partners, where he was the youngest ever Partner.
