Digital Divide Data (DDD) is an international New York non-profit aiming to use technology and digital skills to bridge the divide between economically and socially marginalised youth and employment opportunities that lead to a sustainable and viable future. Recognised as a pioneer in impact-based outsourcing, DDD has trained and supported over 6,000 youth in Kenya, Cambodia, and Laos over the past 10 years, increasing their lifetime earnings by a projected total of more than US$350m.
To fund its social programs, DDD's 1,500 person in-house annotation team (based in Cambodia, Laos, and Kenya) provides commercial and market competitive data labelling and annotation services to create training data for computer vision applications. DDD’s clients include market leaders and innovators in Autonomous Vehicles (ADAS), Geospatial, Agtech, Robotics, and Ecommerce/retail.
