Jacob Polny

Managing Director, TPG

Jacob is a managing director at TPG Capital based in the London office, where he covers the Nordic region as well as Industrials on a Pan-European basis. Amongst other positions, he serves on the boards of SaxoBank and X2 Resources. Jacob was also actively involved in TPG's investment in Ontex.

Prior to TPG, he was with Altor Equity Partners, where he invested in a number of medium-sized companies across Scandinavia and Northern Europe. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in London, focusing on Northern European corporate finance advisory. Jacob is a Danish national and holds a BA from Oxford University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He currently serves as a trustee on the board of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust
