Who we are and what we do

From global brands to local charities, almost every organisation has a board. They play a vital role overseeing, encouraging and holding these organisations to account. But while the world is changing quicker than ever, board-level hiring is stuck in the past. That’s where Nurole comes in.

We’ve created a tech-driven process that opens up the way boards hire new people. It’s more efficient and effective than traditional search, and creates stronger and more diverse shortlists for every role.

By hiring the right people, good boards become great. Great boards change their organisations, and great organisations change the world. So the work we do matters. We’d love you to join us.

Diversity and inclusion

Diversity is part of the Nurole DNA, as our platform is designed to attract and identify more diverse candidates for every role.

As a company, we are committed to being a diverse and inclusive organisation, but we know we have work to do. We recently set up a Diversity Committee and appointed a Diversity Champion to drive our efforts in this area. It is looking at both our internal data and policies, and how the Nurole platform empowers people from the widest possible range of backgrounds.

As Nurole transitions from start-up to scale-up, we are looking to expand the client services team. Location
Notting Hill
Salary
Competitive
Hours
Full time
Responsibilities
The Financial Services Associate will be responsible for:
  • Role Postings within the Financial Services sector - As Nurole grows, the number of role postings is rapidly increasing. It is essential that the quality of the postings remains excellent. You will be working with clients and colleagues in the business development team to support on the creation of role specifications as well as ensure the quality of those role postings
  • Execution, Research and Client Management - Nurole’s key strengths are its membership pool and the referrals those members can make. The ideal Nurole placement is delivered directly from these resources, with only a light touch needed for management of the process. In reality, roles require a degree of high-quality client management and specialist expertise in sifting applicants and ensuring the right result. On occasion, clients require a more traditional approach with a greater degree of process management. This may require additional mapping and membership acquisition to ensure no stones are left unturned. You will be working with clients as well as business development colleagues in the financial services team to sift applications, particularly where there is high volume, and to assess and create long-lists for client review.
  • Referencing and Rejections - Referencing is a particularly important part of what Nurole does. Not only does it provide our clients with valuable insight, it also creates excellent networking and business development opportunities. Additionally, a well thought-through candidate rejection process is critical. Each applicant is also a highly-valued member of Nurole for whom we want to ensure the best possible experience, regardless of outcome. Any unsuccessful applicant may be a future successful candidate, and each is a potential client. The Financial Services Associate will draft and send rejection emails against specific roles, or in some cases will deliver these updates via phone.
  • Working with the Product and Technology team - As a key member of the Client Services team, you will be uniquely placed to support in the development of the platform. As such you will be expected to contribute your thoughts and ideas on an on-going basis, which will feed into the systematic testing of a more sophisticated, data-led and UX-friendly Nurole experience.

  • A strong track record of executive search or general research experience within the financial services practice of a top tier search firm, either large-scale or boutique
  • Able to appropriately and effectively communicate with Nurole’s customer base of chairs, board members and senior-level individuals
